The MyVet Imaging team had the pleasure of working with Dr. Koss and his staff at Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital in Thousand Oaks California. Dr Koss chose to upgrade his existing Universal High Frequency X-Ray machine using the Rayence 17×17 SCC Digital X-Ray detector with Vet View Acquisition software. The tethered 1717 SCC detector is an economical solution that allows the user to experience the benefits of Flat Panel Digital Radiography. This detector possesses the same thickness of traditional film cassettes, which makes it effortless when it comes to fitting into standard cassette trays. In addition, the use of a detector that is 17×17 inches provides more flexibility when positioning anatomy and eliminates the need to be rotated to accommodate views. Efficiency is improved by streamlining workflow through the elimination of the additional steps required when using film or CR.
In addition to the Digital X-Ray upgrade Dr. Koss decided to add the MyVet PACS system for not only a secure image archive but the ability to view images anywhere at anytime in the clinic. One of the many benefits of upgrading to this new digital imaging technology is that Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital can provide more efficient high quality care to their patients.
